The Japan Desk Amstelland Hospital is an independent, non-profit foundation located in the Amstelland Hospital in Amstelveen which offers free of charge information and language support for Japanese nationals who visit the Amstelland Hospital. Please feel free to contact our Japanese staff for guidance about visits to the Amstelland Hospital or for information about the Dutch medical system in general.

Visit by new Japanese ambassador
On 22 February the Japan Desk had the honour of welcoming newly appointed ambassador of Japan H.E. Hiroshi Minami (南 博) at the Amstelland Hospital. The ambassdador was accompanied by his wife Misao and Amstelveen Mayor Tjapko Poppens and Deputy Mayor Adam Elzakalai. Members of the board and staff of the Japan Desk were present during the visit and provided and explanation of the background and activities of the Japan Desk.
